1. Who we are
Reasoning GP ("we", "us", "our") is a clinical-reasoning and medical-education platform operated by BDYAM Medical Services Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company number 16892799), registered office 43 Lena Street, BL1 8LU. Contact: bassamomda@gmail.com.
2. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account or using the site you agree to these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy and our Medical Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
3. Who the service is for
Reasoning GP is an educational resource intended for qualified healthcare professionals and doctors in training in the United Kingdom. It is not intended for patients or members of the public, and is not a source of personal medical advice.
4. Medical disclaimer (summary)
The content supports clinical reasoning and exam preparation. It does not replace your own clinical judgement, your professional responsibilities, or current authoritative guidance (NICE, SIGN, SPC, specialty societies). You remain solely responsible for clinical decisions. See the full Medical Disclaimer.
Intended purpose. Reasoning GP is education, revision and a reference summary of published UK guidance for UK GPs, GP trainees and primary-care clinicians. It is not a medical device: it does not diagnose, triage, calculate doses or make recommendations for an individual patient. See the intended purpose statement.
5. Accounts
- You must provide accurate registration details and keep your password secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Accounts are for a single individual and may not be shared.
- We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.
6. Subscriptions, billing & cancellation
- Paid tiers (Silver, Gold, Platinum) are billed monthly or yearly (Gold can also be billed every 3 months) through PayPal, which securely handles all card and bank details; we never see or store them.
- Prices are shown on the site and may change with 30 days’ notice; changes do not affect the current paid period.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time, in two clicks, from Manage my plan (the account menu, top right), by emailing us, or in your PayPal account (Settings → Payments → Manage automatic payments). Cancelling stops all further payments; access continues to the end of the period you have paid for, then your account returns to the free plan. Nothing you have saved is deleted.
- Pausing: you can pause a recurring plan for 1, 2 or 3 months from Manage my plan. The pause starts when your current paid period ends. While paused your account is on the free plan and no payments are taken. Your plan restarts automatically on the date shown and the next payment is taken then. You can resume early, or cancel, at any time during a pause.
- Immediate access and the 14-day cancellation period: paid access is digital content supplied straight away. Before you subscribe you are asked to confirm that you want access to start immediately and that you understand you will then lose the 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Because access starts at your request, payments are not refunded for that reason; you can still cancel at any time to stop future payments, and you keep access to the end of the period you have paid for. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (for example if the service is faulty) are not affected.
- Access codes, referral months and invoiced group access are not recurring payments: they end on their stated date, nothing is charged, and there is nothing to pause or cancel.
- The free tier and any free trial (including the one free run of each AI feature) may be changed or withdrawn at any time.
7. Digital downloads (handbooks)
- Separate purchases. Each printable handbook (for example the Lab Results Handbook, the SCA Casebook Vol 1 and the SCA Communication Book) is a separate one-off purchase from the Shop, paid through PayPal. Handbooks are not part of any plan, but Silver, Gold and Platinum members pay 25% less for handbooks and bundles while their membership is active. The price you pay is the one shown at checkout.
- Bundles. A bundle gives you each handbook it lists, for one price, under the same personal licence. Books you already own are not charged twice.
- Your licence. Buying a handbook gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to download, read and print it for your own use. You may not share it, copy it for others, upload it, resell it or distribute it in any other way. Copyright in the handbooks belongs to Reasoning GP. Organisation licences are described below.
- Licences for practices, training schemes and PCNs. A licence covers the one organisation named at checkout (a practice, a GP training scheme or deanery team, or a primary care network) for 12 months from purchase, within the size stated on the licence (number of clinicians or trainees). The buyer downloads the handbooks; every page of every licensed copy carries the organisation’s name and the licence end date. Members of that organisation may print, copy and share the licensed copies inside the organisation for its own teaching and clinical work during the licence. They may not share them outside it, resell them or use them after the licence ends without renewing. Licences are not discounted. For larger organisations or other terms: bassamomda@gmail.com.
- Free samples. Each handbook has a free sample of a few pages for any signed-in account, for your own evaluation only.
- Receipts. Every order has a printable receipt in “Your orders” on the Shop page, for expenses and study-budget claims.
- Order number. Each downloaded copy is marked on every page with its order number (your PayPal transaction ID), or, for a licensed copy, with the organisation’s name and the licence end date. A personal copy does not carry your name or email address.
- Immediate supply and the 14-day cancellation period. A handbook is digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium. Before you pay, you are asked to tick a box. By ticking it you consent to the download being supplied immediately and acknowledge that you then lose your 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. We keep a record of that consent with your order. Because the download is supplied straight away at your request, downloads are not refundable once they are available.
- Your statutory rights are not affected. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 still apply. If a file is faulty or not as described, contact us at bassamomda@gmail.com and we will repair or replace it, or refund you.
- Re-downloads. You can download your handbook again, on any device you sign in on, at no charge. A re-download gives you the newest version of the same edition.
- Chargebacks and reversals. If a payment is charged back, reversed or refunded in full, access to the download is removed.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, including: copying, scraping or redistributing content; reverse-engineering; sharing account access; or using the site unlawfully.
9. Intellectual property
All content, design and code are owned by BDYAM Medical Services Ltd or its licensors and are protected by copyright. Your subscription grants a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to access the content for your own education.
10. AI-generated content
Some features use artificial intelligence to generate practice patients, feedback and explanations. AI output may contain errors and must be verified against authoritative sources. It is for education and reference only. The Ask assistant answers general questions about what UK guidance says; it is not for questions about a specific patient and gives no individual doses. Do not enter patient-identifiable information.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any clinical decision made in reliance on the content, nor for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law. [Have a solicitor draft this clause.]
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified via the site or email. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
