Real-consultation feedback

Simulated practice polishes a performance; this examines the habits underneath. Bring a real consultation — recorded role-play, dictated recall, or a transcript — and get RCGP-examiner feedback against the three domains, traffic-lighted.

Paste the consultation as Doctor: / Patient: turns if you can — but plain prose works too. Even a from-memory reconstruction is worth analysing: what you remember saying is itself diagnostic.

A plain-text transcript exported from your video software, dictation app, or typed notes.

Two ways to use the microphone: dictate a consultation from memory immediately after it happened, or play back a recording out loud near the mic and let the browser transcribe it. Works best in Chrome/Edge.

Waiting for a transcript — the button enables at ~200 characters.

This feedback judges only what is visible in the text — tone, pace and body language are invisible to it, and a reconstructed transcript reflects your memory, not the room. Treat amber/red flags as hypotheses to test on your next recording, not verdicts. Patterns matter more than single consultations: log your domain grades over several weeks.
