Theory for CSTF Resuscitation Level 2: recognising cardiac arrest, adult and paediatric CPR, AEDs, choking, the recovery position, anaphylaxis, the practice emergency kit, and DNACPR and ReSPECT.

Written to the Skills for Health Core Skills Training Framework (CSTF) learning outcomes for Resuscitation, Level 2 (Adult Basic Life Support and Paediatric Basic Life Support): theory only. CSTF alignment has not yet been granted, so this is a certificate of completion for your records and appraisal: check what your employer or agency accepts. Refresher: Every year (CSTF England v1.1). At Level 2, practical hands-on simulation training and assessment is recommended for clinical staff: this course is the theory to prepare for that practical, assessed session and does not replace it. It provides about 1.5 hours of learning.
