Infection Prevention and Control (Levels 1 and 2)

Written to the Skills for Health Core Skills Training Framework (CSTF) learning outcomes for Infection Prevention and Control, Levels 1 and 2. CSTF alignment has not yet been granted, so this is a certificate of completion for your records and appraisal: check what your employer or agency accepts. Refresher: Level 1 (all staff) every 3 years; Level 2 (staff giving direct patient care, including GPs and the practice clinical team) every year (CSTF England v1.1). Refresh sooner if national guidance or local policy changes. E-learning can cover the CSTF learning outcomes; hand hygiene technique, PPE practice and FFP3 fit testing are checked locally.
